How to Clean a Pandora Bracelet at Home
Sep 1st 2021
Although we offer jewelry and collectible cleaning services at A Touch of Class and would be delighted to help you, here's an at-home guide for all of those do-it-yourselfers out there. If you'd prefer to watch us do, click here.
Step 1
Set up your station. You will need your Pandora jewelry, a cute bowl (because why not?), baking soda, a stirring spoon, and a petit hand towel.
Step 2
Twist or slide all of your charms off of the bracelet.
Step 3
Put 2-3 spoonfuls of baking soda in your bowl. Boil a cup of water and slowly pour it over the baking soda mixing as you go. Pro tip: For sparking results you want the mixture to resemble a paste more than a liquid.
Step 4
Place jewelry in the bowl, cover, and let sit for 20-30 minutes. This will remove all unwanted debris from daily use.
Step 5
Remove jewelry, rinse, and pat dry with hand towel.
Keep in mind, this cleaning process only works for silver items. Additionally, if your jewelry oxidized and got dirty in a way not consistent with everyday wear, please DM us to ask for specific cleaning advice.
